Airtel Data Plans 2019: Full list and subscription Codes

Although, apart from buying Airtel data plans, there are many Airtel plans that offer free MB, let's focus on the available data plans for now as we have already handled that aspect in a different post (Tap the previous link to see Airtel offers with free MB).

BEST AIRTEL DATA PLANS IN NIGERIA 2019

1. FREE SURF

The Free Surf Plan gives you reduced browsing rate on a Pay as you Go level. This plan can also offer you up to 160 MB for FREE when you use up to 160MB. The charges rate on this plan starts from 1Kobo/Kilobyte.

2. AIRTEL DAILY DATA PLANS

The daily plans include the 20MB for NGN 50 (*141*50#), 75MB for NGN 100(*141*100#), 200MB for 200 Naira (*141*200#), 300MB for 300 Naira (*141*300#), 750MB for 500Naira (*141*500#).

•  20 MB for NGN 50 Plan

This 20 MB daily plan has a validity period of 24 hours. The subscription code is *141*50#. 

There is a way Airtel compensates first-time subscribers. You will find out in the Airtel triple surf offer section of this post.

•  75MB for NGN 100 Plan 

This plan has a validity period of 24 Hours. It is ideal for people that are not heavy users or probably you just want some data for less. 

To subscribe to this plan, dial *141*100#.

•  5-STAR Pack for NGN 100

The 5-Star Pack offers very little data with a longer validity period. This plan gives you 5MB every day for 5 days. It is definitely NOT suitable for smartphone users; those devices consume a lot of data. Java or Symbian phones users can still find this useful.

3. AIRTEL ANDROID BUNDLE

The Airtel Android bundles offer 1.5GB for N1000, 3.5GB for N2000, 5GB for N2500, 7GB for N3500 and 9GB for N4000. The Android bundle can be used in modems, MiFi, Android, iPhones and other internet-enabed devices that allow SIMS

4. WEEKLY PLANS 

The Weekly plans offer less than 30 days validity. The list of Airtel data plans that fall in this category are as follows;

• Weekly - 300MB for NGN 300

This plan gives you 300 MB of data which will expire after a period of 7 days. The plan costs NGN 300. It is usable on any device.

To subscribe to this plan, dial *417#.

• Easy Plan - 750 MB for NGN 500

This plan gives you 750 MB for 14 days and it costs NGN 500. The plan is usable on any device.

To subscribe to the Easy plan dial *141*500#.

• The 2G Pack

 According to Airtel, the 2G Pack offers unlimited data service over a 2G network. The data Pack allows you to subscribe with NGN 200 or NGN 500. See the features of both subscriptions below;

- Unlimited 200 costs NGN 200 over a 10-day validity period. The amount of data is "Unlimited" but be rest assured that the rule of fair usage definitely applies. To subscribe to this plan, dial *482*1#.

- Unlimited 500 costs NGN 500, the data capacity is "Unlimited" with a validity period of 25 days. To subscribe to this plan, dial *482*2#.

5. AIRTEL OPERA MINI DATA PLAN FOR N300

This plan helps you to stay connected on your favorite apps such as Facebook, Twitter, Wechat, Opera, WhatsApp, 2go and so on. The plan offers 250 MB data for just N300 with a validity period of 25 days.

This plan will be useful for people that enjoy chatting and socializing all day long and most especially, people that choose Opera mini as their main browser.

However, not all the internet dependent apps on your phone will work with this plan.

6. AIRTEL UNLIMTED PACKS FOR 100 NAIRA

I know what you are thinking, but unfortunately, the plan is only unlimited by name. 

The weekly version of this plan is not worthy to be included on this list because it is just too expensive compared to the weekly plan we have discussed earlier but the daily plan is OK, see the details below;

The daily plan gives you 40 MB for a period of 24 hours and it is usable on all devices including Blackberry. It costs 100 Naira, to subscribe, dial *440*18#. 

7. THE MONTHLY PLANS

The Monthly data plans on the Airtel network are as follow;

• 10GB for N5000

This data plan offers you 10 GB data at N5000 for a period of 30 days and it is usable on all devices.

To subscribe to this data plan, dial *452#.

• 16GB for N8000

This data plan gives you 16 GB data at N8000 for a period of 30 days. It is also usable on all devices. To subscribe to this plan, dial *460#. 

• 22GB for N10,000

MEGA 10 plan gives you 22GB data at N10,000 for a period of 30 days. To subscribe to this plan, dial *462#.

• 30 GB for N15,000

This plan offers 30 GB for N5,000 for a period of 60 days. The plan can also be used on any device. To subscribe, dial *463#. 

• 50 GB for N36,000

The Mega 36 plan offers 50 GB data for 180 days and it costs N36,000. To subscribe to this plan, dial *406#.

• 100GB for N70,000

The MEGA 70 plan gives you 100GB data for N70,000 with a validity period of 1 year (365 days). To subscribe to this plan, dial *407#.

•  for 136,000

This plan offers 200GB data for N136,000 with a validity period of 365 days. The data is usable on all devices, you can subscribe to the plan by dialing *408#.
