RFWO DAILY GRACE SHOWERS 24 -04-2020 He Will Make a Way for You II. Our Foundational Scriptures (FS), are taken from John 6: 1-13(AMP), "After this, Jesus went to the farther side of the Sea of Galilee—that is, the Sea of Tiberias. 2 And a great crowd was following Him because they had seen the signs (miracles) which He [continually] performed upon those who were sick.3 And Jesus walked up the mountainside and sat down there with His disciples. 4 Now the Passover, the feast of the Jews, was approaching. 5 Jesus looked up then, and seeing that a vast multitude was coming toward Him, He said to Philip, Where are we to buy bread, so that all these people may eat? 6 But He said this to prove (test) him, for He well knew what He was about to do. 7 Philip answered Him, Two hundred pennies’ (forty dollars) worth of bread is not enough that everyone may receive even a little. 8 Another of His disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, said to Him, 9 There is a little boy here, who has [with him] five barley loaves, and two small fish; but what are they among so many people? 10 Jesus said, Make all the people recline (sit down). Now the ground (a pasture) was covered with thick grass at the spot, so the men threw themselves down, about 5,000 in number. 11 Jesus took the loaves, and when He had given thanks, He distributed to the disciples and the disciples to the reclining people; so also [He did] with the fish, as much as they wanted. 12 When they had all had enough, He said to His disciples, Gather up now the fragments (the broken pieces that are left over), so that nothing may be lost and wasted. 13 So accordingly they gathered them up, and they filled twelve [small hand] baskets with fragments left over by those who had eaten from the five barley loaves." Beloved, I introduced this Message yesterday and will continue from where I stopped. While the pain of lockdown lasts, God knows how to create escape routes for you. Our FS, account for how the multitude in their thousands, followed Jesus because of the miracles He had performed. Jesus asked Philip where they will buy bread to feed all of them but He asked simply to test him. *He knew what He will do.*(verses 4-6 of our FS). Are you still standing? Beloved, *what did Jesus do eventually?* By faith, He asked all to sit down for a treat. Then He took what were available - 5(five) loaves and 2(two) small fish and simply blessed them. Their multiplicity began in response to His brief prayer of faith and at least 5000 men were fed. Left overs filled twelve baskets. We glean these from verses 7 to 13 of our FS. Are you still standing? Beloved, Jesus was not rattled by the number of people around Him to be fed when nothing was available. By faith *He knew what to do.* In this season, God has expectations from you.(i) Be sincerely reconciled to Him(II Corinthians 5:20; Job 22:21). (ii) Put your house in order, ensure everyone is genuinely born again.(iii) You live in perfect agreement so that God will always answer your prayers (Matthew 16:18). (iv) Live and walk as Jesus did. Look unto Him as your Champion (Hebrews 12:2). He said *you can do what He did if you are genuine*(John 14:12). Therefore, thank God sincerely for the little you have and see it multiply. Are you still standing? *THIS MESSAGE CONTINUES TOMORROW.* *Prayer points* 1. Thank God for His Word and ask the Holy Spirit to expound it to you. 2.Ask the Holy Spirit to help you stir-up the gift of faith that God gave you(Romans 12:3; II Timothy 1:6). 3. Pray for your enablement to put your faith to work. Thank God Who always answers all you pray for in Jesus most favourable name, Amen. *MEMORY VERSE.* "So also faith, if it does not have works (deeds and actions of obedience to back it up), by itself is destitute of power (inoperative, dead)."(James 2:17, AMP). Have a pleasant weekend. RFWO = Rock Foundation World Outreach.
