RFWO DAILY GRACE SHOWERS 25 -04-2020 He Will Make a Way for You III. Our Foundational Scriptures (FS), are taken from John 6: 1-13(AMP), "After this, Jesus went to the farther side of the Sea of Galilee—that is, the Sea of Tiberias. 2 And a great crowd was following Him because they had seen the signs (miracles) which He [continually] performed upon those who were sick.3 And Jesus walked up the mountainside and sat down there with His disciples. 4 Now the Passover, the feast of the Jews, was approaching. 5 Jesus looked up then, and seeing that a vast multitude was coming toward Him, He said to Philip, Where are we to buy bread, so that all these people may eat? 6 But He said this to prove (test) him, for He well knew what He was about to do. 7 Philip answered Him, Two hundred pennies’ (forty dollars) worth of bread is not enough that everyone may receive even a little. 8 Another of His disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, said to Him, 9 There is a little boy here, who has [with him] five barley loaves, and two small fish; but what are they among so many people? 10 Jesus said, Make all the people recline (sit down). Now the ground (a pasture) was covered with thick grass at the spot, so the men threw themselves down, about 5,000 in number. 11 Jesus took the loaves, and when He had given thanks, He distributed to the disciples and the disciples to the reclining people; so also [He did] with the fish, as much as they wanted. 12 When they had all had enough, He said to His disciples, Gather up now the fragments (the broken pieces that are left over), so that nothing may be lost and wasted. 13 So accordingly they gathered them up, and they filled twelve [small hand] baskets with fragments left over by those who had eaten from the five barley loaves." Beloved, I am continuing from where I stopped yesterday. I did mention that God expects His children to live by the principles of the Kingdom that Jesus taught and demonstrated. Yes in our Lord's prayer, Jesus taught us to say : "..... Our Father Who is in heaven, hallowed (kept holy) be Your name. 10 Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread."(Matthew 6:9- 11, AMP). Your daily bread includes all your daily sustenance. In feeding at least 5000 men in our FS, Jesus demonstrated how God answers prayers that hinge on essential needs(verses 10-11). Are you still standing? Beloved, since Jesus is our Champion(Hebrews 12:1-3), we ought to operate like He did. He had given us the *Authority* to operate even better than He did (John 14:12). Remember that Jesus said, the least man in the Kingdom is greater that the Old Testament prophets(Matt.11: 11). How do you see yourself when you now remember how Prophet Elisha multiplied the kegs of oil for a widow to sell and solve problems?(II Kings 4:1-7). Prayer of faith and thanksgiving like Jesus offered (Verse 11 of our FS), precipitate multiplicity of whatever is desired. Yes, as per Jeremiah 30:19(AMP), "Out of them [city and palace] will come songs of thanksgiving and the voices of those who make merry. And I will multiply them, and they will not be few; I will also glorify them, and they will not be small." Meditate on our Memory verse ahead. Are you still standing? Beloved, this lockdown is the time for *practical Christianity* unless you had been going to Church for other motives. The Word of God builds up the serious-minded person. Jesus illustrated this Luke 6:46- 48 (AMP), "Why do you call Me, Lord, Lord, and do not [practice] what I tell you? 47 For everyone who comes to Me and listens to My words [in order to heed their teaching] and does them, I will show you what he is like: 48 He is like a man building a house, who dug and went down deep and laid a foundation upon the rock; and when a flood arose, the torrent broke against that house and could not shake or move it, because it had been securely built or founded on a rock." Are you still standing? Beloved, Jesus the Owner and Head of the Church of God (Ephesians 5:23), knows the motives(I Samuel 2:3), behind whatever a person does in the name of Christianity. He knows those who are simply *hearers,* and He knows the *hearers and the doers* of what they learn from the Word of God.(James 1:22 -23). There are people that run from place to place seeking miracles or financial assistance. They are not ready to study the Holy Bible or surrender to Jesus. Such persons were among the multitudes that came to Jesus(Verse 2 of our FS). And Jesus was later blunt on their motives. As per John 6:26(AMP), "Jesus answered them, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, you have been searching for Me, not because you saw the miracles and signs but because you were fed with the loaves and were filled and satisfied." Does that Holy Scripture describe you? Which one are you? Are you still standing? Beloved, the man that has not built up his life on the Word of God, will struggle much to survive in this season. But the man that built his life on Christ's teachings will be stable. As per Lk. 6:49(AMP), "But he who merely hears and does not practice doing My words is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation, against which the torrent burst, and immediately it collapsed and fell, and the breaking and ruin of that house was great." Does this Holy Scripture describe you? Are you still standing? THIS MESSAGE CONTINUES MONDAY. *Prayer points 1. Thank God for His Word and ask the Holy Spirit to expound it to you. 2.Ask the Holy Spirit to help you build your life on the Word of God. 3. Pray that every faulty foundation you may having been standing on collapses so that you can totally embrace Jesus (Colossians 2:8-9). Thank God Who always answers all you pray for in Jesus most favourable name, Amen. *MEMORY VERSE. " But the just shall live by faith [My righteous servant shall live by his conviction respecting man’s relationship to God and divine things, and holy fervor born of faith and conjoined with it]; and if he draws back and shrinks in fear, My soul has no delight or pleasure in him. " (Hebrews 10:38, AMP). Have a blissful day. RFWO = Rock Foundation World Outreach.
